About me
I studied geology and then seven semesters to teach at primary and secondary schools. During this time I had several auxiliary scientific jobs in mineralogy and geophysics and in marine geology and was unsuccessfully looking for a doctoral position or work as a geologist.
Then I dropped out of the teaching degree shortly before the end and completed the supplementary course in waste management. Since then I have been looking for work intensively and without success. I worked for a year at the Animal Breeding Institute in Celle as a technical employee and did many large and small further training courses and had various small jobs, mostly in the office.
I did a 4-month advanced training course as a CAD specialist and have been working from home on a small basis for about 4 years for a Swiss deposit geologist. I learned and did a lot by myself - languages, graphics and image processing, wrote and self-published books, created websites and more. I've tutored a lot, mostly maths to intermediate level.
For about 20 years I have developed various research ideas and contacted professors internationally and unfortunately tried in vain to initiate them and find work about them.
Job search possible for the following activities:
scientific assistant/geologist
As a geologist with some professional experience in literature work and data evaluation with Excel, I can familiarize myself with various activities as a scientific assistant, including other specialist areas if not too much special knowledge is required. I can develop my own research ideas and approaches and display and evaluate data on the PC. I can search for good scientific literature internationally and evaluate and present it in summary.
Office assistant/office help/IT assistant/media assistant/online marketing/customer advice/support
I can do writing and research with books and a PC, I can make phone calls, I can work with graphics and image editing programs, I can create websites and quickly familiarize myself with software that is not too complicated or requires special expertise. I know something about online marketing and can help in online trading on the PC with various activities, I can translate simple texts into German, I can also give customer service advice over the phone after training.
CAD specialist, working with AutoCAD
I learned to work with AutoCAD on the PC for four months and can create and edit technical drawings, but I would have to familiarize myself with it and deepen it first.
Teacher/coach/homework helper
I can teach students and adults in individual and small groups online and on-site. I can teach various school subjects, languages and painting and drawing to a certain degree, more beginner than advanced. I can also explain various software and teach how to work with it
Creative force/artist
I can paint and draw my own creative pictures and create photos and photomontages and collages and my own graphics, logos and the like. I can also invent products and also a design of products in draft.

Does your institute need a geologically trained employee who works for you from home and is versatile?
I am a graduate geologist with diverse knowledge and experience in literature work and data presentation and evaluation.
I am also happy to work for you occasionally and by the hour in my home office. Later I can certainly come personally, possibly even permanently.
I live relatively close to the largest geoscientific library in Germany - in the BGR Hanover - and can also search for literature and information for you in the archive and evaluate the content and write it down clearly, but also research, order and evaluate external specialist literature.
I can work with different software, especially with Excel and statistics in Excel, but also with graphics programs and dealing with map servers. I also worked with the drilling database as part of an internship at BGR.
I'm most interested in deposits, gemstones and natural disasters, but can dig into other areas as well.
I also developed many research ideas myself and sometimes worked out more and tried to start a research project. I would be happy to delve deeper into one of the topics you mentioned and try to develop new research approaches that could provide good insights if implemented.
