Geological Research:
Special research for geological questions and needed informations (esp. raw materials and gemstones)
My offer in detail:
I offer geoscientific research from literature, in particular from the largest German geoscientific library in Germany in the BGR Hanover.
I can search for literature online and on site in index cards in the archive if the literature is older. I can also contact other libraries and archives and search for literature.
As a next step, I offer an evaluation of the literature and the writing of summarizing, clear reports under certain requested questions. So I can search for raw materials or gemstones in certain countries - both historical mines and deposits, as well as the increased probability of occurrence based on professional evaluation of geological maps, drilling data and literature sources.
In addition, I can also encourage research on this or look for whether there is any. I can also contact international research institutes and mining authorities and search for and compile suitable information.
My fee for various services:
I would like a fee of 20 US$ for the search and procurement of literature.
I would like to have 30 US$ for the evaluation and the compilation of the specialist literature.
For the well-founded revision and consideration and research for possible research I would like to have 40 US$.
I estimate that I need the following times for a research assignment, but I can't possibly know this in advance:
Acquisition of literature: online search 1-3 hours, acquisition of literature: 3-5 hours.
Evaluation of e.g. 5 specialist articles and summary writing: 3-10 hours.
Elaboration of a research proposal or proposal where there is an increased probability of finding raw materials or gemstones: 3-20 hours depending on the number and quality of information sources.

Of course, I will document everything accordingly, so that you have an overview with receipts for what I needed the time for. You can also discuss with me in advance to what extent I will limit or stop the work when a certain number of literature is found. You can give me precise instructions on exactly what to look for in the literature and I will only provide that and nothing else. You can also set a limit as to when I should only finish the work as a summary and stop working.
What I can do:

-
search for and compile suitable literature and maps,
-
evaluate literature,
-
give well-founded and justified information and own suggestions from the available materials and additional research, where there is a higher probability of finding something beyond the known sites.

What I cannot do:

-
give a guarantee that what I have found in the literature is also without errors and is found in nature,
-
give a guarantee on my recommendation of places with an increased probability of finding,
-
give a guarantee on the quality of the rocks/ gems that can be found at the places I have identified from the literature.
